You're about to start a Subdivision Application.
Note: This application is for new subdivision applications only. To apply for a Final Subdivision Approval, PLA extension or amendment, please contact planning@kamloops.ca.
You must have a MyCity profile to apply online. If you don't have one yet, you can create one here.
Once you start the application you will have 30 days to submit it. Your application will be saved to your MyCity profile until you submit and pay for it. You can access it by logging into MyCity, then clicking on the In Progress Applications button at the top of the Registered Accounts page.
Application fee payments must be made by Visa or Mastercard. A non-refundable 2.75% service fee will apply.
Required Documentation for all Applications:
- Title Search - Dated within the last 3 months (can be accessed through LTSA.com)
- Charges on Title - Non-financial charges, legal notations, covenants, statutory right of way, etc.
- Owners Authorization - Signed by all owners
- BC Company Summary - If the property is owned in a company name
- Site Disclosure Statement - Identifying and disclosing sites that may be contaminated (can be accessed through the BC Provincial website)
- Site Plan
- Letter of Intent - Description of development and how/why it complies/does not comply with City bylaws and Development Permit Guidelines
Additional Documents:
- Civil Engineering Drawings - Prepared and sealed by engineer, required for larger subdivision only
- Existing Building Condition Report - Building Code compliance analysis prepared and sealed by architect or engineer for Strata Conversions or Split Title Existing Building
Note: Additional documentation may be required, depending on the scope of work to be done.
Once you complete your online application, you will receive a reference number, which will allow you to review your submission under your MyCity profile.
