General & Personal Services General and Personal Services includes businesses who offer:

• general services such as laundromat and dry cleaning services, pet care (excluding veterinary services), funeral or crematorium services, auctioneers, janitorial and cleaning services, security or enforcement services, steam cleaning services, travel agencies, upholsterers, and general handyperson services (non-trades); and,
• personal services such as hair stylists, cosmetologists, aestheticians, barbers, tattoo/body piercing services, and theraputic massage.

It also includes land developers, property management companies and commercial landlords.

It does not include licences for businesses which sell products or provide Professional Services as their primary business or any businesses which provide Adult Services. To view a list of the other business licence groupings, please visit the Apply for a Business Licence page.

Depending on the nature of your business, the following may be required to complete your business licence application:

• Number of employees.
• Number of persons.
