Health & Medical Services includes all professional practitioners such as veterinarians, medical professionals, dental professionals, psychologists, physiotherapists, naturopathic physicians, and chiropractors.

It also includes:

• residential care homes, nursing homes, private hospitals, or homes for the aged or handicapped.
• counselling services.
• practitioners of Chinese medicine, acupuncture, reiki, reflexology, and other similar or related fields.
• pharmaceutical sales, like drug stores.

It does not include licences for businesses which provide Personal Services, Child/Day Care, or Cannabis Retail Sales as their primary line of business. To view a list of the other business licence groupings, please visit the Apply for a Business Licence page.

Depending on the nature of your business, the following may be required to complete your business licence application:

• Floor area (in sq. m.).
• Number of beds.
• Number of professionals.
